Equipment You’ll Need
- 7-inch square baking pan: For baking the brownies.
- Mixing bowls: For combining ingredients.
- Whisk and spatula: For mixing the batter.
- Parchment paper: For easy removal of brownies.
Ingredients for Homemade Brownies:
Here’s what you’ll need to make delicious brownies:
- 1/2 cup 108
grams oil
- 1 cup 216 grams Powdered sugar(you can use castor sugar).
- 2 large eggs (at room temperature) or 1/2 cup yogurt
for an eggless version
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup 49 grams cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup 84 grams all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder (optional if you want cake-like brownies). If you want fudgy brownies then skip baking powder.
- 1 tablespoon coffee dissolved in 2-3 tablespoons water
(optional for a coffee flavor).
- 1/2 cup 11 grams cooking chocolate (you can use Nutella, or any chocolate
spread).
Instructions For Making Best Brownies:
- Prepare Your Pan: Grease a 7x7 inch baking pan with oil using a brush.. Then I took a butter paper and grease the paper again with oil. Our pan is ready. Set the pan aside.
- Mix Dry Ingredients We'll mix the dry ingredients. I have taken half cup of flour, one-third cup of cocoa powder and three or four pinches of salt. If you see lumps of cocoa powder, break them up and mix thoroughly. Don't forget to add salt, as it will balance the sugar and everything very well. Mix the flour, cocoa powder, and salt with a hand whisk until there are no lumps.
- Optional Coffee Addition: If you like the flavor of coffee, dissolve one tablespoon of coffee in 2-3 tablespoons of water you can use milk.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: Now, take two eggs. Make sure the eggs are at room temperature. If you want eggless brownies, replace the two eggs with half a cup of yogurt. This will give you eggless brownies. Your next step is to start mixing the liquid ingredients. I have beaten the eggs and sugar together until the mixture has changed color and become fluffy then add oil to the eggs and sugar mixture and beat for 1 to 2 minutes. Be careful not to overbeat. Overbeating can cause it to crack and become more like a proper cake. After that, add the vanilla half teaspoon to eliminate the egg smell mix it then I add coffee mixture and I had cooking chocolate, which I added to to the batter. You can also add Nutella or any chocolate spread you prefer.
- Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Now mix the batter with spatula fold until well combined. Do not over beat. If you want cake-like brownies, add one teaspoon of baking powder.
- Preheat Your Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the Brownies: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
- Cool and Enjoy: Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Once cool, cut them into squares and enjoy!
